How a mail-in repair works

01

Start with a conversation

Send us the model, symptoms and any useful photos. We confirm whether a postal repair is suitable and explain the next steps, including any assessment charge.

02

Agree the sending arrangements

Before posting, confirm the delivery address, what to include, packaging guidance and how your device will be returned. We discuss postage costs and arrangements with you first.

03

Assessment, quote and approval

Once the device arrives, we assess the fault and explain the repair options, cost and expected timeframe. You decide whether to approve the quoted work.

04

Repair, checks and return

We carry out the agreed repair and checks relevant to the repaired fault, then arrange the return as discussed with you.

A REAL POSTAL REPAIR

TikTok to our workbench.
Then back to its owner.

A customer saw our repair video on TikTok and posted their damaged iPad to us. It arrived in the morning with cracked glass and a bent frame, and was repaired and dispatched that afternoon.

See the original before-and-after photos, including the side view that tells the story of the frame repair.

This was the turnaround for that particular repair. Assessment, parts availability, the work needed and delivery affect the timeframe for your device.

What would you like repaired?

Postal suitability depends on the device, fault and work needed. Ask us first so we can confirm your options.

Choosing an iPhone replacement screen from further away

Our shop has a live display base showing Value LCD, Copy OLED and Original Apple screens side by side, helping visiting customers compare the picture before choosing. If you are arranging a postal repair, ask our team to explain the suitable options for your exact model, including part origin, price and relevant display differences.

Before sending your device

Confirm the details with us

Wait for our instructions before posting. Confirm the device, repair enquiry, delivery and return arrangements, and which accessories are needed.

Back up where possible

Back up important photos and files before sending your device. If it will not turn on or you cannot make a backup, tell us so we can discuss your situation.

Mail-in repair questions

Can I send a device without contacting you?

Please contact us first. We need to confirm that we can help with your model and fault, and agree the sending and return arrangements.

How much will it cost?

The repair cost depends on the model, fault and parts. We explain assessment charges and postage arrangements before you proceed, and quote for the repair before you approve it.

Will my repair be finished the same day?

The iPad shown on this site was repaired and dispatched on the day it arrived. Each repair is different; we discuss the expected timeframe for your device after assessment. Delivery adds to the overall time away.

What if I decide against the repair?

Ask us about assessment charges and return costs when arranging your mail-in enquiry, so you know what applies if you choose not to proceed.

Is there a repair warranty?

Repairs include our three-month repair warranty, subject to terms and repair type. We explain the coverage for your repair.

Where should I send it?

Our workshop is at 1223 London Road, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex SS9 3JB. Contact our team to confirm the address and sending instructions before posting your device.
