Every console we work on is assessed, repaired with your approval and checked before collection. The work needed depends on the model and fault; this PS5 shows what that care looked like on one complete repair.

We remove the dust build-up and service the fan and cooling system while the console is apart. The difference is visible in the fan blades and the rebuilt cooling assembly.
On this PS5, we renew the liquid metal on the APU — the console’s main processor — before refitting the cooling assembly. The photos show the thermal interface before and after this work.
We rebuild the console and carry out post-repair checks. For this HDMI repair, that includes checking the picture output: the final photo shows the PS5 displaying its on-screen menu again.
